Would you agree the first love heartbreak was the worst?

I feel bad for saying this. Im 32 now with 3kids and have a VERY sweet/hot husband, Im so happy with him! 🥰 
Over the years I havent cared or gave much thought to my previous ex bfs. HOWEVER, my first real love/real relationship was with a guy when I was 19 and he was 21. We were together for 2 years and got engaged. It didnt work out. He married a girl and got her pregnant all within 4 months of us breaking it off. Im glad to have moved on with my life but TO THIS DAY, it still hurts to think about. Granted he rarely ever crosses my mind, but man that a left big scar. Dont get me wrong Im glad things didnt work out, my husband is such a better man and I wouldnt change it for the world! 
They say you never forget your first love would you say thats true for you?

Your feelings are VERY valid. I had a guy that i thought was my first love, I rarely think of him and when I do I am so thankful I am out of that relationship. However there was a guy in high school that I was good friends with and he always had feelings for me and the same for him, but the timing always seemed off. Either i was dating someone or he was but we both knew how the other felt. I moved a few states away (to live with my sister) the night he graduated high school and he begged me to stay. I met my husband a few months later. So although i don’t consider this guy my first love i often wonder why he had such a place in my heart.

not my first love but definitely one of the guys i was with i still get a little heartbroken over. that being said i’m very glad the way things worked out and that i ended up with my husband and not the other man. whenever i get those “what if” thoughts i immediately replace them with all the ways he hurt me and the reasons we couldn’t be together. plus, i’d hate to think of a life where me and my hub weren’t together, he taught me what real love was

For me the first guy I thought I loved ( I say thought cuz my relationship now is so different) was such a bad relationship that I look back on it and am so happy it ended. I learned a lot from it so I look back fondly on the whole experience.  It hurt a lot at the time but helped make me the person I am today.

No, not really. My first boyfriend was a jerk and an awful person. In the moment it hurt because I was a teenager and had never experienced it before. But I’d say my most recent breakup before I met my husband was the worst one. We lived together and I thought we were going to get married and all that. Didn’t happen. It hurt really bad but I met my husband 3 months after we broke up and that definitely made me feel a whole lot better! 😀 that breakup doesn’t bother me at all anymore

I’m definitely a lot less emotional than I was a teen so I do think a breakup would effect me a lot differently now than it did back then.

My first boyfriend was when I was 14 we dated two years and he kinda just dropped me like a hot potato. Sucked and hurt but my second long term relationship was worse. I was 16-18 we dated 3 years and it was really tough. Partially my fault and partially his. I wanted a family and to move forward he did not. I ended up getting trashed after a fight and his room mate took advantage of the situation, led to me feeling guilty and our secret relationship continued for awhile till my boyfriend found out. He then went out with his friends and choose a girl to go home with out of spite. When I found out he slept with her I was devastated because he did it just to hurt me back. Needless to say it ended really really badly. The hard part was he ended up dating the girl he took home for awhile and she had 3 kids. So I felt like he didn’t want a family or anything with me but he did with someone else. 
I realize now just how blessed I am that it all happened. I am now happily married for almost 8 years now. Have 3 baby girls and one on the way. I am so glad I never looked back. My life changed dramatically. I got saved, I found my stability and my rock. A man who loves kids as much as me. A man who never fights with me ! It’s really an amazing thing to have the perfect person for you!

I'll definitely never forget my first love, but it was a big and long ordeal. 
Although I don't often think of that person now, they were a big part of my life for almost a decade. They're the only person I seriously thought about marrying. And they abused me so that all left an impact.
