How often do you get Cervical length measurments?

My last pregnancy I delivered my daughter at 26 weeks with spontaneous preterm labor. Just curious about how often I should expect to get my cervix measured this time around? At 8 weeks I measured 3.8 and my next measurement isn't scheduled until 14 weeks. I start p17 injections at 16 weeks. Anyone have experience with cervical length measurements? If so how often?

**Update** I began cervical length measurements at 14weeks and received then every 3 weeks until 23 weeks and will continue every 2 weeks until 34weeks. I'm currently 30 weeks and will continue receiving Makena injections until 35 weeks.

Update: At 14 weeks my cervix measured 3.9cm. My doctor said I will have my cervix checked again at 17weeks, 20 weeks and 24 weeks. She said if there are no signs of cervical shortening by that point, I won't need cervical checks again until closer to my due date. I'll be getting a second opinion from my maternal fetal medicine specialist as well this week.

I must be doing something wrong at my appointments, I have never been told the exact measurements of my cervical length. I wish I had been asking from the beginning 😝

I had mine done every week from 20 weeks til about 28 weeks. They discovered my cervix was dynamic so it changed often and it was funneling. I was placed on Crinone at 20 weeks ( a progesterone suppository) and stopped at 34 weeks. No cerclage or any surgery. I delivered a heathy baby girl December 29 at 36 weeks and 4 days.

From the time I was 8 weeks I've had them done every 2 weeks I'm now about to be 27 and for the past 3 weeks I've had to get it ever week.

I started at 20 weeks, we are doing every 4 weeks.  I'm also on progesterone injections

Just had mines checked an hour ago since i was having contractions this morning and that usually changes the length.  I measured 4.02 4 1/2 weeks ago now its 3.7 they may check it again on the 23rd when I have my regular appt with the high risk specialist
