My LO has her 4 front teeth and one molar coming in. She went to the dentist around 1 y/o and had no issues. She did whatever he asked as long as she could see me.

Ou girl has had all her teeth except for the 2nd molars since she was a year old. She has been to the dentist twice now. Once at 9 months old because she had a dark spot on her teeth and then she went for her 1 year checkup.

My LO has 10 teeth. We did take him to the dentist in March but it was only because he fell into a coffee table and knocked a couple teeth loose. He didn't handle the dentist well at all. He wouldn't open his mouth and we kinda had to hold him down. if we didn't have to take him for the injury, we would have waited. 
His dentist said that once they start to get molars to schedule to appointment 6 months from then. Since my LO had 2 molars coming in, the dentist scheduled his first cleaning appt for September.

We have 13 teeth over here! Been to the dentist once and they put fluoride on them. He handled it pretty well, definitely cried but I think he was expecting a shot like at the doctors 😂🙈 so once he sat up and realized that was all he kind of looked around like “that’s it?”

Our regular dentist told me they take kids at 3 but my older son chipped a front tooth just before his second birthday and we took him to a pediatric dentist then. They said they usually take kids around 1.
That being said, we haven't gone yet for the 18 month old. I'm thinking we'll probably go around 2.

Our hygienist friend said they start taking kids at age 3. Unless you notice and issues.
