Baby Detergent??? Did you use dreft or another free and clear detergent?

Please share recommendations if you didn’t use dreft! there are so many free and clear detergents i don’t understand the hype of dreft.

baby detergent is a huge waste, not to mention expensive. i have extremely sensitive skin as well as eczema and so does my son and we just use tide free and clear and never had any issues!

Dreft is overrated in my opinion. My baby has sensitive skin just like her father & Baby Purex works wonders for her !

I use Dreft simply because I love the way it smells. Wash my husband's and my clothes in it as well for the same reason. 💁‍♀️I will switch to different detergent when she's older, but enjoying the smell while I can. 😅

Dreft smells awesome and I love that smell! That said, the smell alone tells you it is NOT a free and clear detergent. Dye free, sure, but not free of perfumes etc. It’s not uncommon at all for babies to have trouble with it. I have sensitive skin that acts up now and then and do best with a free and clear detergent anyway. So our whole family uses ALL free and clear. Never had to worry about kids reacting to anything that way, which was nice. I do miss having that baby clothes smell, but not enough to risk skin irritation or consider the expense.
