No, because I encouraged her son to branch out in life in order to be successful in general. I don’t invest into her gossip about others, and actively discourage it. I don’t bow down every time she wants to run our lives (for example, she didn’t go to our wedding because it wasn’t what she wanted). I won’t allow her to do things like stay in our house for longer than a week, come right when the baby is born and tell us how to live our lives. She wanted my husband to move down the street from her, pay for everything (including a house) for her one day and maintain the unhealthily dependent relationship she had. She doesn’t hate me, but she doesn’t like me because I’ve altered her son’s perception of things and I’m not a doormat.

I love her like she was my own mother! My mum died 6 years ago and I feel like she has been my absolute rock ever since I met her. She helped plan and organise our wedding as we live 4000 miles away and shes always on hand when I need help and advice, especially now I’m pregnant. She’s supportive without being interfering and we message and talk on the phone all the time. She’s a wonderfully warm and sweet woman and told my husband I’m like the daughter she never had (she had 3 boys). I’d honestly be lost without her, and we both happily put a lot of time and effort into maintaining a strong relationship ♥️

I would say she doesn't like me however she's never got to know me and has no intention to as she's still obsessed with my partner's ex with hopes they'll get back together 🙄 Her loss 🤷♀️

No she does not, because she's a narcissist and doesn't like that I opened her sons eyes to how badly she and his sister (also narcissist, also doesn't like me) treated him.

Well 🤷🏻♀️ both mil and fil are very introverted, no social circle. They rarely even interact with relatives (I'm talking their own children, sibilings and parents). When we do visit they are polite and we small talk. Me and my mother in law buy eachother gifts for birthdays, christmas and mother's day - small gifts like flowers. We've never been close, and I barely even have a relationship with her. We live in the same city. It's not that she doesn't like me. It's the way they just are. They don't really like to interact with other people. She and my SO talk sometimes over the phone, but mostly small talk and when they do she always says hi. She has called me personally about 3-4 times im total over the course of the 5 years I've known her, out of the blue to say hi or to invite us over (usually for a holiday). So does she like me? As much as she can. I think if she had another daughter in law she would like her less. If that makes sense.
