How does he show his love to the kids?

How does your husband show his love to the kids.. Does he spend a lot of time with them? I feel my husband has no interest in our kids lives. He doesn't spend time with them.. He hardly tells them he loves them...
I feel he is way too about himself.. For example doing things the kids enjoy taking them to see Christmas lights, to a movie or just hang out at home with them and spend time together... He never wants any of that it seems

My husband isnt a lovey person but with that being said he does put forth effort to our little girl. He tries to wake up early for him and spend time with her. He works overtime so we can have special weekends to take her to the zoo or other places. If shes sick he will rock her and read (he hates reading).

He stays home with them and watches movies or plays video games. He takes them to movies. Christmas lights start this week we'll do that. We go on vacations and make it about them. Maybe he's not sure how to interact with them. Do something all together and show him. Talk to him about how distant he is and how its hurting.

I am Barely having my first child with my SO.

But I can share stories about my father, he is a very hard worker, working 6a-6p
Or 6p-6a.

And as tiring as that must be, he still manages to find time to be with my mother; and also finds time to take my 2 younger brothers out to movies, games, or just out in the yard (sports) or even out to ride bikes/4wheelers.

Of course he spends time with me too, but not as much as my 2 brothers since they're young, I'm 22: and a college student, so I'm always so busy. But he does spend a lot of time with the family.

He even makes time to take the whole family out of town for the weekend or sometimes even for the day.
