Idk if my water is breaking

I’m 37 weeks and 4 days today and since about 6am I’ve been leaking clear fluid. It’s not a consistent trickle so I haven’t gon to the hospital. All day I leak then stop, then start again. Around 7am I went to pee and had a small gush of liquid then it stopped. Around 9am I lost my mucus plug. I took a nap at 2p and woke up to more leaking, this time it leaked through my shorts then stopped again. I keep having painful contractions but they are not consistent. Idk if my water is breaking or not cause the leaking keeps starting and stopping over and over again.
