So I sound stupid and I posted yesterday about thinking I have a yeast infection and I got the results back today and it is a yeast infection. She was super short with me and was like ok use monistat 7 and you’ll be good and only put the applicator halfway in. I’m like okay...well I got it and imsuper confused. I’m 21 weeks pregnant now and never in my life had a yeast infection. It is really bad and my clit and all in my lips is extremely itchy too. So I just fill a tube up with the medicine and put it alll Ofer the outside and inside of my vagina ? :( 
And do I not have sex until the medication is done? I had sex 2 days ago with my husband does he beedto get tested ?

You need to insert it and use the cream inside. You can use some on the outside too, but it’s main treatment will be internal.

The way you're describing sounds right. Focus on internal because it will ooze out and cover external. Wear a pad. Husband doesn't need to get tested but sound use a topical antifungal because yes you can pass it back and forth. They sell them for men, check lotrimin ultra or jock itch meds, use for a few days simultaneously and I personally would avoid intercourse.

The applicator do not rush it or it will get everywhere and not work. Make sure you have underwear and a pad ready as you will leak the cream and as soon as the cream is in lay on your left side. Try to use the bathroom before doing the cream. You can rub it on the outside it will burn and you will be irritated. Fair warning ! Make sure you do that for seven full nights do not skip a night... you can have sex after the 7th day. But not have sex in between the 7 days. I’m not sure if your husband needs to be tested my boyfriend was never tested when I was diagnosed just make sure your curing yourself of it.

He doesn't need to get tested. Put the monistat in just like you would a tampon. Some monistat comes with cream for external itching but if not, the internal will sort of melt with your body heat and get on the outside too. Make sure you put it in right before bed so you're lying down the entire time it's in, otherwise it just drips out and doesn't do its job. Good luck! Yeast infections suck. 😕
