Too soon for gender??

Question

I'm currently 12w 5d my first appointment and ultrasound is on the 11th. I should be right at 14w. Is that too soon to find out baby's gender??? I'm probably being suuuuper impatient but I reeeeaaally want to know before my husband deploys!!! *sighs* any help would be appreciated :) THANKS LADIES!!!

I went for my 12 week scan Tuesday and measured 13 weeks and got my due date moved up. And 3 techs told us it was a BOY we clearly saw a small penis... I had it confirmed yesterday through Harmony.I'm having a Boy

It is possible at 14 weeks. But it just depends on your size and the position of the baby.

I found out at a 12w ultrasound scanning that I was having a boy but thats bcuz you can see boy parts before girls & it was so obvious!

That's a little early......usually it's at 16 weeks you can tell, but I found out at 15w 4d with my youngest son. You might be able to see though.

Certain blood test can tell you as early as 8 weeks I've read.

We have an ultrasound this Saturday at 14 weeks 1 day before my husband heads off as well. He's not going to be able to make it back for the birth, as of now he'll miss it by 2-3 weeks so I'm hoping to find out as well :-)

In my previous pregnancies I have had to wait until I was 19-21wks. But all doctors are different when it comes to that.
