Prodromal Labor
I'm 34w 4d and for the last week around 3am, I've been experiencing slight period cramps--nothing uncomfortable or painful. I don't think what I'm feeling are braxton hicks, because it's not my stomach tightening, it just feels like a slight period cramp in my lower pelvis.
I'm hoping this is considered prodromal labor because I hear that is a sign your body is preparing for labor (although it could still be 2-4 weeks away). However, from what I've seen other people post about prodromal labor is that it's painful or very uncomfortable... I'm just hoping this is the start of prodromal labor and that as I get closer to full term, the prodromal labor will get more intense.
I never had this feeling with my first. And with my first, I was to 42 weeks with literally no signs of labor, so I'm hoping this could be a sign that I may go into labor on my own.
