My girl is here

Chelsea

Ok here it goes lol. After going through contractions for 2 days on the 3rd day they changed. The were all day and then at around 12:30am the started picking up. I said to my husband uh oh we have to go we live almost 2 hours from the hospital so I was worried we waited too long, I was keeping how close the contractions were to myself so I wouldn't panic him as he drove me to the hospital. They were coming right on top of eachother.. we were pretty much there when I was like babe they are so close, lol luckily we walked in to early assessment and I said to the guy ya I'm pretty sure I'm in labour, he said sit down so he could get my info, I tried but yea that wasn't happening so I paced as he asked me a million questions for what felt like a million years and then I got in nurse checked me I was at a 5cm so up to birthing unit I went (after a Covid test which I swear was more painful than the labour) got up got my epidural and got comfy. They broke my water at 8 in the morning and by 10 I was feeling her head in my lady parts and the epidural had to be fixed because it was sooooo painful. By something after 12pm I was ready to push, the nurse turned me on my side and I pushed for 11mins and my beautiful darling Lily-Mae made her way into my arms 💓💓.

7lbs 14oz 20inches long. Born exactly on her due date April 6th 12:27pm She's swollen here because she was literally just born in this pic. My husband had to leave to be with our 8 year old son so I took it for him to see her right away
