How quickly did you go from 1cm to 4cm ?

I’m 38w3days . My baby is around 8.2 pounds already. And I’m 1cm dilated. I think ima go into labor sometime this week

No idea. At my first check at 39 weeks I was already 4. Stayed that way for 3 weeks.

My water broke at 7:40 by 8:40 I was 4cm, by 9:50 I was 7 cm and by 10:58 had the baby. Never know...

Don’t pay attention to time frames. My first I took three dang days to get to a 4 and then went from 4 to 10 in about two hours. I missed out on my ideal birth because I paid attention to how dilated I was, instead of how I felt. My second and third I started labor at a 3/4 and then got to 10 within three hours.

Idk. I was 1cm at my 36 week appointment then 7cm when I got to the hospital at 39 weeks. I imagine I was 4cm a couple hours before I got to the hospital but no way to know.

I was 1cm around my 36/37 weeks, at 39 weeks I was 3 cm, didn’t go into labor until 39 and 4 and after 5 hours of labor got to the hospital and was at a 5.

Dilation doesn’t really tell you much. I was 3 CM at 36 weeks with my first born all the way up until I went into labor same with my second born.

My water broke 9 days before my due date when I got to the hospital I was only 3 cm 14 hours later I hadn’t dilated anymore they gave me medicine to help me dilate an hour later I was 9 and pushing.
