How soon should you wait to tell friends and family ? Realistically

Would like to know, about when did people wait to tell there family and close friends they were pregnant ? Realistically I know it's hard to keep such exciting news from your family for a full 3 months (first trimester). So when do people typically tell the ones the love about there new love!!😊☺️

I couldn't choose between right after positive test and after first doctors appointment lol. With my other 2 pregnancies I told right after the positive test. My second pregnancy ended in miscarriage and I was glad to have the support. I feel like we're only waiting this time because we want to do it as part of a Christmas gift and my doctors appointment just so happens to be the Monday before Christmas lol

I think if anything goes wrong..you're going to need support..tell anyone you don't mind having to tell if something goes wrong..that's how I'm doing it..though I'm scared to tell my mum..I don't wanna tell her and jinx it ♡
