I am a first time cerclage mom, meaning I was diagnosed with an incompetent cervix with my last pregnancy after having my son at 23 weeks. I am now 17 weeks pregnant this time and had my cervical cerclage placed 2 weeks ago at 15 weeks... my question is what and how did other moms out there manage doing daily tasks (work, household chores, taking care of other kids, running errands, etc). We’re you placed on bed rest or were you able to do everything without exemptions. Did this cause early labor? Also, we’re you able to have sex, or did you avoid it for rest of pregnancy? I am having a hard time finding groups to specifically answer my questions, so I decided to go forward and make a post and simply ask for other moms experiences... tia

P.S. I understand every body and situation is different, I just want to get some insight on other mommy’s experiences since I worry a lot about what I can and can’t do or shouldn’t do that I’m stressing myself out. Plus my doctor says everything is ok at this point, but I still don’t want to push myself too much.
