Bump/ lump

I have a cyst type skin colored big bump about 1cm which now has popped and reduced in size and has a red spot more like an open wound which had watery blood coming out of it . I saw a doctor and she said I had herpes but the big bump that I had which then turned into such type of a tiny wound like thing was not considered. I have seen a lot of pictures of how genital herpes looks like and it does not resemble with the process that the bump went through.

The bump was hard and little painful only if pressed on it and after bursting like a pimple now is an open small tiny wound.
