Doctor wrong??

I’m so confused. I went to the doctor today because I just found out I’m pregnant. He’s amazing, so this is nothing against him — I’m just confused. He said that, though I have a positive pregnancy test, implantation hasn’t occurred yet. This is a man who delivered babies for 17 years. He said that implantation won’t occur until week 6. Usually I would trust the man who has been if the field for most of his life but EVERYTHING I have ever heard or read says differently. Anyone know what’s up?

From my understanding about implantation from my fertility specialist is baby implants then gives you a positive pregnancy test but implantation continues and is fully implanted around week 6 and this is the reason why we sometimes have chemical pregnancies because baby doesn't fully implant due to abnormalities. I'm by no means a doctor but this is how my specialist explained it to me because I had several chemicals back to back so maybe your doctor just didn't fully explain it

If you have a positive pregnancy test, baby has already implanted. He is very wrong. Fetal pole doesn’t develop until 5.5-6.5 weeks maybe that’s what he was referring to? But he’s very wrong.

I literally felt implantation cramps at 9DPO and got a faint positive at 10dpo so I would say he is wrong

Implementation means there’s a baby. He’s wrong. I would find a new dr.
