Razor bumps??!

Any ideas on how to get rid of painful razor bumps?

I know usually when I get razor bumps I dont shave for a week or so and I change my razor head, when I notice the bumps have gone away I make sure I lather up with dove soap and then shave. After shaving either use deodorant to keep smooth or rubbing alcohol. Rubbing alcohol burns so use a fan or blow dryer it also helps withing itching when the hair grows back.
