Stray dog pregnant again ? What to do

So there’s a stray pit who chills at my granny’s new house we are pretty sure the old owners left her there but we cant afford to spay her or take her in, and the shelters refuse to come get her because we fed her but I already took in her first litter , can’t do it Again cuz I suck as a foster parent I end up keeping them and I do not want more dogs in my studio apartment I can’t handle it . So what do we need to do

Find a rescue. You may have to look out of town but they will probably come and get the dog so you don't have to worry about transportation. Either that you will have to go out of granny's town to find help. Or you could leave the dog be but if you've already fed her she will keep coming back now

Look on Facebook for rescues or fosters.

You could have someone else take the dog into the shelter as a stay. In all honesty, though, small town shelters have high euthanasia. Best option is to find a rescue in a close by town. Don't give any history - just say a dog showed up pregnant & none of your neighbors are claiming her. It sounds fucked up lying, but I worked at a shelter & you have to be shady to get a dog real help.

Not sure where you live but here dog wardens have to take strays other shelters and rescues aren't really even legally allowed to take strays before the dog warden. Though I can also imagine the dog wardens trying to avoid taking more dogs in overpopulated areas when possible. Mostly if you claim to have been taking care of it. Just tell them it just got dropped off mostly if she is pregnant again that will be pretty believable. Though again depending on your area there is a good chance she will be euthanized or in the least given an abortion first. There are also often organizations/rescues that offer more affordable forms of spaying/neutering. Though that should have happened before she got pregnant again as now it is just going to more problematic and costly to deal with another litter.

If you have SPCA where you live they are willing to come to next town to get her, she will keep coming back since you fed her, but pits have a bad rep so if u live in a small town if they cant find anyone to adopt her they may put her down after she has the pups (puppy pits will get adopted quicker) so try towns with in 1-3hrs close

Try a rescue instead of a shelter.

That just sounds like a shelter, not a rescue.

Just take it to the shelter say you are surrendering your dog
