Godfather Proposal help

Hello everyone,

So my husband and I have decided who to be our daughter’s godfather. His birthday is coming up and we were hoping to gift him the proposal. Is it rude for us to give it to him at his birthday? I don’t want to the spotlight to be redirected to us but we have a cute gift/proposal idea in mind. I honestly think that is one of the best gifts ever- getting the chance to be godparent. Also, our baby has been born & everyone knows about her so it won’t as big as a pregnancy announcement. Thank you in advance! I appreciate all your feedback 😄
