Went to the obgyn last week and they say my IUD has moved down too far. They said they must take it out immediately and replace it. Has this ever happened to any of you?

Also, I've only had it for 3 years.

It hurt sooooo bad getting it put in. Does it hurt coming out? Any tips of how to reduce pain as they put the new one in?

I'm never scared. But the pain was so real that I am scared to death.
