When Should I Start Nesting?

Hello ladies, 
​So I am getting married May 16.15. My fiancé & I don't live together, we are very traditional. He still lives with his parents and I'm living in a bachelor (studio apartment) we are moving into a 1 bedroom apartment in the same building.
​The question is, when should I move into the 1 bedroom (he won't be moving in until the wedding night)
​When should I start nesting & preparing the apartment? We are buying everything new (furniture wise) so I will have to have everything set up & feeling like home!
​also, my bridal shower will be in March!

April since its closest to the wedding

Start the month before your bridal shower so that you only have to move things once and you will know where to put everything.

I would wait till April. You don't want to have been in the apartment by yourself for so long that might feel more like "your" apartment and less like "our" apartment to him when he moves in.

I'd move in before the shower, so you can go ahead and situate yourself and the gifts will have a place to go :) 
Try to remember though, that this will be his home, too. Before I moved in with my husband, I asked about everything from how he preferred his clothes to be folded (we're both OCD), to what brands of toothpaste he used, so that when I took over the apartment and shopping, I could make myself at home without making him uncomfortable
