Baby or career first?

Do you regret having children before establishing your career? 25 years old over here having a hard time sorting out my life 😂

26 here, turning 27 in a couple of months.  Married for 4 years this year. I’m glad we waited- traveled internationally solo and together, graduated college same year we got married, and renovated a house. Although, i didn’t think ttc would be such a struggle i don’t think we wouldve felt truly “ready” if we had kids right away. Wanted to enjoy our couple time and do things we want before trying to have a kid. But i do feel like I’m in my prime career wise but luckily they’re flexible so i don’t feel the pressure of choosing one or the other! Couldn’t imagine having a child right away. Each to their own though.

I wish I had waited, I have three beautiful children I’m 28 going to be 29 I have a degree I just don’t want my family to struggle in life. I should of waited to have my kids.

I found out at 3 months. Im 18. And i was a Drug addict before i found out i was pregnant w my son but after i found out i was pregnant i Stopped. I had beed addicted to meth since i was 15... i regreted Being pregnant at the Beginning, i wanted a abortion so bad bt didnt get one bc i didnt wanna upset my mom i mostly regreted being pregnant bc i knew that being pregnant ment i had to stop using And i didnt want to stop. IT wasnt til i was 6 months pregnant when i started to feel love for my son, and i started to go to school bt i only managed to go for a couple Weeks before i couldnt Go anymore this is my second semester returning  to class, And now ima have to go back for a 3rd time since i didnt finish this semester.... i was really suppost to graduate in my first semester but i wanted to smoke drugs And stay out all  night,  And then i got pregnant so i didnt ever finish, but i dont Blame my son. I blame myself .. but all i gota say is dont give up. Ik its hard bt theirs about 5 ppl in my class who are in their mid 30 and 40s who are graduating this semester. And 3 of those ppl dont even speak inglish for the most part And are still graduating... if they can do it so can u.

I'm SO glad I waited until my 30's!!!!! I lived my best life in my 20's and traveled the world, enjoyed things that would be next to impossible if I had a kid in tow (financially, logistically,  emotionally). I have zero regrets waiting and I know I'd have been unhappy had I had kids earlier. I'm currently pregnant with #2 now and feel it's perfect timing in my life. To each their own. But was not in my life plan. I see friends from high school who had kids early 20's and I don't envy their life at all. I think they missed out, but that's just my perspective. I'm not judging anyone else on this app (so don't feel the need to correct me, debate me or come at me lol. I'm just relaying my opinion and experience 😊)

Nope. I just dropped out of college before getting pregnant. My baby is now 18 months and I’m in school for a totally different career that fits my life better. My priorities and dreams changed when I had my daughter and I think having her put me on the path I’m on now. I didn’t have my life together when I had a baby, but my husband was established in his career already.

😂😂😂 I had my babies at 21 and 23. Definitely didn’t have my life sorted out but as they got older it got easier, I work in agriculture so I already knew and had been working in my career field. Now that their both in preschool I’m working on actually farming myself, but it would have been much harder when they were babies. Now it’s totally doable, they are 2 and 4.
