I think all guys have a preference. If you do have hair tame it and it shouldn't be a problem. My personal opinion is shave it off.

My hubby doesnt care.  Im not one that grows much down there as it is tho. 
Its a personal thing for me if I shave then I feel more sexy the hubby couldnt care less as long as hes gettin it. Lol

Don't worry about it. It's your body, not theirs. If you want to, go for it. If you don't, don't! If the guy you're with cares, he's no good for you
