Elevated AFP levels (spina bifida)
Hi, I'm 15 weeks and 6 days. Received news from my doctor that my AFP levels are slightly elevated 3.24 (normal is 3). This means that there is a possibility that the babies spinal cord is not closed. I have been scheduled for another extensive ultra sound. I am so worried. I wanted to see if anyone in this community went through a similar situation. Thanks
