Potty Training is HORRIBLE!!!

Marlee

I have a 27 mo girl. On her 2nd birthday, she had asked and successfully used the potty at daycare. I was THRILLED! She had moved to a classroom with toilet access and seemed to have legit interest. A week later, daycare closed for a week due to a COVID scare and I saw it as my time to focus on potty training. She went without pants for a few days. It wasn't perfect by any means but she did seem to get it more. I was hopeful that we'd start having accident-free days and they NEVER came!

We were in the process of moving so I decided to put the breaks on for a few weeks until she was comfortable with the changes. I've also started to give her responsibility with cleaning up. She's very independent and I thought this might make her realize that going on the potty or in her pants will both take a break from what she was doing but accidents are way messier.

I don't know what else to do. Rewards do nothing. Stickers do nothing. She does hate being in soiled pants but it feels cruel to make her sit in her own urine. I'm getting desperate and frustrated... Any advice???
