Is 9 weeks considered month 2 or 3?

I know this is a silly question but im 9 weeks pregnant and i want to announce my pregnancy to my coworkers. But i didnt want to announce when i was 2 months because i was kinda scared. I spotted alittle on and off on my 5/6 week. But since then, it has stop , everything seems fine just that i feel super pregnant. Ill be been a ultrasound to hear the heart beat at 11 weeks. So back to my question am i in month 3 now? Lol
