I really like this guy but he's HIV positive

I've been talking to this guy for a little over a month and a half. We've gone on a lot of dates. He wasn't trying to get into my pants. He didn't even ask for nudes, he just asked for pictures of what I'm doing. Like if I'm cooking he will ask for a picture of what I'm cooking. He's always been a gentleman. Will ask how my dad is. He will also tell me if he isn't going to be able to talk for a while so I don't wonder why he's not answering. If he's going to therapy for an hour he will say so that way I know I'm not being ignored. He was over my house showing me his favorite music and we were smoking a little bit of weird. We were making out and I started to go for his pants and he stopped me and said I needed to know something important. He told me he is HIV positive. I didn't know what to say. He said he promised he didn't get it from just sleeping with a bunch of people. I asked if he knew who gave it to him and he looked away and said yeah. I wasn't trying to pry really I even said "Do you mind me asking who?" He said "I really don't want to talk about it" still looking away and kind of shaking so I dropped it. He does take his medication and he told me he isn't able to pass it to others now but he understands if this is a deal breaker for me. Idk a lot about HIV. I really like him. What are your opinions on people with HIV.
