Big Scare (TMI)

Kellie • My husband and I have had a brilliant 10 years together, and we are expecting baby #1 in June!
I woke this morning at 330am, as I do every morning, to use the restroom. I went to wipe, and there was bright scarlet blood on the tissue, and there was an entire bowl full of it. I woke my husband, and we went to the ER.  They called in the ultrasound tech and did some bloodwork. Of course I am thinking the worst, and everyone is telling me not to worry! I wasn't screaming or crying, but how else am I supposed to feel?!? The tech came in, did the US, and we was our healthy, beautiful baby - heart beating stron - measuring at 12 weeks. The tech let me know that it could have been a cyst or a blood pocket. Either way, I am so grateful that our baby is okay. Just to let you know my symptoms were the toilet bowl full of blood (three times) and mild cramping. Thank God for ER ultrasound techs. 💕
