Kicks on the outside

So last night I was trying to get my SO to feel kicks. I was laying flat and had my hand over the area where I typically feel them. I know for surrrrreeeee I felt a kick with my hand, just the littlest bump against it. So I took my SOs hand and put it on the same spot and I could tell baby was moving but he says he didn’t feel anything. He said what I felt was probably still just on the inside and not the outside and I said he probably just has numb hands. 😂 Just curious if any other mamas have felt outside kicks but their SO hasn’t yet? Currently 19 + 2.
