Monistat? TMI

Is it safe to use monistat to treat a yeast infection during pregnancy ? I have no itch or burning but do have the lumpy discharge that looks like cottage cheese.  although it doesn’t bother me I haven’t seen it go away, been a couple weeks!

Completely safe! My dr recommend the 7 day with my daughter also once you are past 12 weeks your dr can prescribe you pills for it that get rid of it so quick. I was literally 11 weeks 4 days with my daughter and did monistat 7

I had a similar yeast infection in the first trimester, just the gross discharge but no itching or burning. At first I thought it was just the increased discharge they say you’ll have in pregnancy because I’ve never had a yeast infection or been pregnant before. Then, at one of my appointments my OB let me know it was yeast and recommended using the 7-day monistat and said it was perfectly safe, but also said it was fine to wait if the symptoms weren’t bothering me. I was still a little nervous so I waited a bit, but I felt SO much better after using it and wished I had done so sooner!
