looking into nexplanon

hi everyone!! i have chronic illness issues and can’t take a lot of birth control because estrogen worsens them. progesterone based nexplanon and the progestin-only pill are my two options left, because depo was ruled out due to my osteoporosis, and and IUD would cause more inflammation in my body.

i scheduled insertion for next thursday. is it really painful?? how does the procedure go?
