Embracing the Change
When I first found out I was pregnant, I expected to only get a baby bump and bigger boobs. No one prepared me for the swollen armpits, fatter thighs, and edema of the feet.
At 9 months pregnant, I do not feel like the same person I was 9 months ago and that is okay!
I won’t ever be the same because my body built our beautiful little girl. I don’t want it to be the same. I want to look in the mirror confidently and know that my body did that.
My body built a life and soul from the love between my husband and myself.
Here is to loving your body now and postpartum, mommas.
Cause you did that, you badass. You made life.
