What transition was easier?

I’m pregnant with baby number 2 and I’m so nervous 😂😂

1-2 was way easier for us. Especially later on, when the second baby started to walk and talk. They started to play together a lot. And now our first is almost 5, second almost 3 and they very often close their playroom door and tell us to let them play alone, without us. It is us who want to be with them but they wont let us anymore lol 😀😀 i work from home and they very often give me 1 hour of work without any interruption and since I work part time, 4 such episodes are enough to get the job done 😀

My second is only 2.5 months but so far I think the transition from 1-2 has been easier than 0-1. You kind of know what you’re doing a bit more and have everything set up. My second baby has also been a much easier newborn though so that might have something to do with it!

1-2 was way easier for me to handle. Dont get me wrong, it’s still really hard, but when I went from 0-1 I had no idea what I was doing, had to buy all these things, worried so much about milestones, and had to entertain baby just me and her. Now that there’s 2 of them, they can entertain each other! I already have the bedding and clothing and toys, and I didn’t worry about milestones at all. Baby fit right in! But I prefer being busier rather than bored.

Our 2nd is 3 weeks old and like another said nothing ever gets done because if the baby is sleeping the older child needs something...our house has never been so messy and our toddler has never had so much screen time and cooking is near impossible so lots of takeout which is not ideal or normal for us.

I’m 6 months into having a second and hands down 0-1 was an easier transition. At the time I thought it was so difficult but now I’m like wow I wish I took advantage of that time in my life lol. Mama is tired!

I found 0-1 way easier. 1-2 wasn’t bad at first but as they get old and get the youngest became mobile and they fight over things it has been harder lol now Were expecting our 3rd in about 4 weeks and I’m terrified haha

I have a 2 year old and a 12 week old. This is the hardest shit I’ve ever dealt with. It was a huge adjustment going from 0-1, but it’s like that all over again, except you have to also take care of another one. 
I’ve never been so overwhelmed.
We have our good days, but we have some really bad ones too.

0-1 when they say sleep when baby sleeps it’s actually possible. 
With two I never get a nap myself so I’m constantly tired.

1-2 was easier because we already knew how to take care of a baby- less learning to do. It was harder because we had to learn to split our time. 2-3 was the hardest because we don't have enough adults per child for one on one care anymore and if they all need someone at the same time someone has to wait

0-1, 100% easier. My second was an easier baby, but finding the new normal and getting into a routine when things are constantly changing for the little one and my oldest had a routine that just didn’t work with having a newborn ... it was A LOT. They are quite close, 19 mo apart. It did get easier (except now we’re in a super-duper almost constant fighting phase 🤦🏻‍♀️ 3 yo and 20 mo now) and most days run smoothly now, apart from the toddler struggles. They nap at the same time and have a good “going down” routine that works well for all involved. But I’m 23 wks with our third and I’m so excited, but also scared that this will be the hardest transition of all 😬 since we’ve been through it before, we’re trying to prepare better by getting baby 2 on a more independent nap/bedtime routine now, but she’s more resistant to it than we expected, partly cause she’s still nursing before sleep, so we’re going slow since we have some more time. Really hoping they get the fighting phase out of the way and start playing better more independently by the time baby comes!
