Baby girl is 1 month, eats so much and gets ravenous
Baby girl is 1 month this weekend. She was 7 lbs 14 oz at birth so not big baby. She consistently eats around 3.3-3.5oz every 2 hours of formula. She's now wanting more sometimes. (We were unable to breastfeed) we follow her cues, do not force her to eat, she barely ever spits up at all, does not act uncomfortable and she always wakes up or demands to be fed around 2 to 2.5 hours. We don't wake her up to feed her or anything. She gets even more hungry at night, to the point where last night she ate her regular amounts at regular times but could not sleep and was still hungry. She gets so ravenous! She had 34.5 oz in 24 hours! Ever since her "growth spurt" almost 2 weeks ago she has not slowed down. Basically eating higher amounts every single day since then. I'm not forcing her to eat, we always make sure she's actually hungry and follow her cues. I thought formula babies were satiated for longer?? I'm so confused and I don't want to over feed her or mess up her cues. But I obviously am not going to not feed her if she's hungry. I have a pediatrician appointment today to talk about it and check her weight. Wondering if anyone has advice or has experienced this?
We pace feed her and follow her pace so we don't feed her too fast.
