Any ideas for a mirror to see baby in his car seat with out having a backseat head rest?

All the mirrors I see for sale attach to the backseat headrest which we don't have (and to buy one is $80 apparently) or there's suction cup ones for the back window but we have an SUV so it would be really far back and impossible to see him. Is there ANY mirror on the market or has anyone come up with a solution for this problem?
