Vacation sleep space?

Question

What do you use for naps and overnight when you go out of town with your 1.5 year old? It really feels like he’s outgrown the pack and play and he sleeps in a crib at home. We will be driving to visit my parents across the state and he will need to be contained for sleep since their house isn’t baby proofed! Help!

Our 98% percentile 2yo is still in his pack n play. Diagonal is an option. It’s fine for a few days.

This is what we used for our 1.5 year old on vacation. It's a little bigger then the typical pack and play.

My son is 99% for height and we used his pack n play for travel up until he was 2.5. After that we just put him in a normal bed, when possible, when we travel. My mom has a blow up toddler mattress with bumper sides that she bought on Amazon and sometimes he will sleep in that, but he definitely prefers a real bed.

Pack and play. My daughter is a little over two and still fits in it. She's getting a little cramped but there is still some room left

My parents bought a mini crib (like what daycares have) to keep at their house for when we visit. 
A pack n play works as long as they are below the weight limit.
