HELP PLEASE

My daughters father was laying on the ground, and she is almost two. She had a tantrum and threw her toy, it hit him in the head and now he has to go and get stitches. He threatened to smack her. She’s never ever been hit. He screamed at me for not disciplining her. She’s not even two. I talk to her about her tantrums and we work on techniques to help calm her down.
