Car seat and hospital bag?

Hey mama's when did you or when do you plan on packing your hospital bag and securing the car seat in the car?

Car seat wont go in the car until we leave the hospital we arent going to risk getting into an accident and having to buy another. We are 35 weeks and our bags have been done for at least a week now

We put the base in my husband's car on my due date and we drove my car as we didn't want to risk getting into an accident. Once we left for the hospital we put the car seat in. As for our hospital bags I don't have many clothes so I wasn't able to pack much ahead of time but I did keep a list and everything near by for easy packing the day of. I actually over packed as my hospital provided a lot of items

i packed my hospital the day of bc i had a scheduled induction and my boyfriend put the car seat in the day we left the hospital

Thanks ladies! I think ill put the base in the car at 34/35 weeks and put the seat in the day we leave. I just dont see us trying to take the time to strap the base in correctly if my water breaks im a cry baby so ill be in full water works 😂

Packed after my 37 week appointment since I had a sweep - just in case as this is baby 2 - car seat is still in the basement lol - we will grab it before we leave and just pop it in the back of the car
