Is your partner financially supporting you during this time?

For the last 6-9 months Ive been paying half of our mortgage and all of internet and electric while I only make $1k per month.... my bills are $770... my fiancé makes over $2500 (not sure the exact amount) but pays the same in mortgage and pays our phone bill... ($440 car payment +$280 ins) 
I won’t have but $800 income coming in when my child is born...shouldn’t he be able to help me without whining... 
I needed to vent because this entire situation is messy... I’m a full time college student and will have a newborn so I’m not entirely sure what I can do anymore...

You guys should be a team. My husband supports me completely right now since I am also in school full time and almost 40 weeks pregnant. Me finishing school is an investment for the both of us financially and we have each other’s backs like that. Your partner is selfish and not having a team mindset.

My husband and I have always functioned as a team. We only have shared accounts and all bills are paid out of that. With that being said, I’d separate money works for you that’s what works for you! I do think he should help you with money during this time and if he has an issue with it remind him of why you cannot help out

You need to have this conversation with him ASAP if you haven’t already- our opinions really don’t matter. You’re not only engaged but expecting a baby and financial disagreements are a huge problem in most relationships. It’s a very important topic to be clear on prior to marriage or big decisions (house purchase, baby etc).
That being said, when my husband and I were not yet married we split the bills through a joint account- it wasn’t 50/50 since he made more at the time. I’m now the sole income earner and pay everything (obviously). But we never viewed the money as his or mine- it was ours. We discussed big purchases with the other prior to doing it so there wouldn’t be issues and it was a given that rent, utility, food, loan payments etc always come out first. Then what we had leftover was split into buckets for savings and fun money.

Yes. It really should be a team effort like stated in another comment. My husband and I have separate accounts but we are still joint on each other's. He pays more into our bill account because he makes more. If one of us is ever short, we help the other out. It did take time for us to be on the same page and plan but it's so much easier now that we have the same goals and an understanding.

We pool our funds and all the bills come out of that because i feel it wouldnt be fair for the person making less at their job to have an equal share in expenses when building a life together, the incomes should be treated as a "total" for the household not individual, he absolutely should be supporting you more!

You need to figure out your joint finances together.  Having a baby is expensive business and completely changes the financial aspect of a relationship (as well as every other aspect).
I’m in the opposite situation to you, I have financially supported my husband and kids for 4 years now (prior to that my husband and I both worked, and split everything 50/50 but it slowly destroyed our marriage as I earned more and he couldn’t keep up no matter what he did).  My husband has been a stay at home dad since we made the plunge to change our focus and priority (kids before career) - his sacrifice his career, mine financial - and I’d do it again over and over.  For the entirety of this time my money is our money.  Luckily though we have a pretty similar view on managing finances and rarely disagree on it.
It’s a tough conversation to have but one that’s needed.  My only advice...don’t do what I did and wait until your relationship is on the rocks before having that conversation.  It takes huge effort from both parties to repair it at that point.
