Well...here she is!
We arrived 04/24 at 8 am for our induction at 37 w 1 day. I was already 5cm 75% effaced when I got here, but baby was still +3. We started the pitocin around 10 am and to be completely honest, it wasnt doing much. I got checked again around 230 pm and was only at 6 cm 90% still +3 so they upped my pitocin for the 7th time, and said theyd be back in an hour to see if baby drops lower so they could break my water. In the meantime, I began doing lunges, step ups, rocking back and forth on all fours. Luckily when they came back after the hour, I was 6-7 cm 90% and baby was at 0 so they broke my water!! Its now about 4 oclock, and contractions are starting to pick up. I was fighting through every single one with the help of my hubby even though I wanted to rip his head off. Around 5 oclock I started feeling a bunch of fluid pouring out with every contraction, and after hemorrhaging with my last pregnancy and almost dying, I had hubby go get the nurse. She came in and said the fluid leakage was normal, and decided to check me again. I was now 8 cm 90% and 0. After that check I was shaking so bad and I told the nurse I was going to throw up, so she got me a vomit bag in which I threw up twice. She was getting ready to leave and said it was my last chance, would I like an epidural and I said YESSSS!!! As she went to leave the room, now about 6:10, I suddenly felt the need to poop/push. I yelled for her to come back and at first she wasn't going to check me since she just did, until I screamed it was burning and I was pushing by 6:25. 5 big pushes without any pain medication, my daughter entered this world at 6:31 pm. She is absolutely beautiful. It was worth every single second of the pain!!
