Putting kids in their own room?

I have a 32 month boy and 21 month girl and they still sleep in our room in their own beds. I’ve been getting told that I’m late in putting them in their own room together. I asked my hubby he said he thinks it’s early but it’s up to me to move them to the next room. Shall I move them to another room? I feel guilty for moving them out. Someone tell me what to do and how to not feel guilty.

32 months? Can we just say like 2.5 year old? Or something? Haha. Also, yes, move those kids ASAP. You won’t regret it. You need normalcy and space.

It doesn't matter what other people think. They aren't the ones sleeping in the same room as your kids. If you're happy with your current set up, keep it. If you're unhappy, change it. If anyone tries to make you feel guilty, just kindly but firmly tell them it's none of their business.

I’d say move them because as they get older they might find it more difficult to make that move. I was a nanny to a family with kids that waited until 3-6 to do that and we couldn’t get the kids to stay in bed and give mom and dad a break. It was tough.

Your family your choice. Who cares what other people think if it works for you. In some cultures kids are in the parents room until much older. No ones business but your family’s and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

I would still have them in with me. My first was 3 when he went into his own bed lol then 5 when he went into his own room - we let him choose when he was ready for both 
We’ve got an 8month old who is in our bed again and we will do the same with him we will let him choose when it’s time for him 
I like having them close for as long as they like it , they are only little once and for such a short time
