if anyone has experience buying a house, can you give me advice? me and my husband bought a house that’s bigger for us & our baby. The previous owner couldn’t afford the mortgage and anyway, we saw the house called the listing agent and she said she won’t list it she’ll put it pending for us instead! Which sounded awesome! This was early last week... The contract was written and we signed it, and he didn’t. We had to keep calling the listing agent, and they said he went out of town that day and won’t be back til next week (which is now this week) so he can’t sign the contract. Yet he emailed them telling them this, but can’t go in the other email and sign???? I’m so stesssed and really wanted this house as it’s cheaper than others. Any advice?! I feel like I’m being stood up, they didn’t give us a date or anything that he’d “be back to sign.” Everytime we call, they make it seem like we’re bothering them, but in reality we need to know what to do because we’re selling our home and can’t be homeless!
