So today I'm 12 dpo and I took a hpt and it was negative. AF is due in about 2 days and I feel bummed out. I just turned 39, and ttc for 6 months. We have kids. He has 2 (boy 14yrs, girl 10 yrs) from a previous relationship and I have 1 (girl almost 20 yrs) from a previous marriage. Together we have 2 girls (4 & 2 yrs), so yeah 5 kids altogether. When we stopped birth control, my husband said if it's meant to be it'll be. I thought ok well I really want a baby boy of my own, so been hoping for BFPs, but no. I'm thinking it has to do with my age or idk maybe I can't anymore because the last baby was 1 month premature and it was a complicated pregnancy due to having pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes. Has anyone had a successful healthy pregnancy after having a complicated one?
