Fluoride toothpaste for toddler??

When do I start using fluoride toothpaste for my daughter? She just made two today!

I’ve always used it for my son, we were advised to do a “smear” or the size of a grain of rice for under 3 years old, and the size of a pea for over 3 years old

Definitely ask your dentist. My son just turned 2 and told us not to use those yet

You can safely use a rice grain amount as soon as the first tooth comes in. You can try to practice spitting with her, but that small of an amount can safely be swallowed by little ones, so don’t worry if you don’t see much come out.
