I will be 38 in a month and this would be my first. I got pregnant in January but unfortunately this ended in a miscarriage at 5 weeks. After 3 months I got a positive pregnancy test, which was 2 days ago. This time was different because I had spotting a week before my period was due and I had none the last time. I have also had light brown spotting off and on for the last few days as well.

It’s difficult for me to be excited because I’m constantly hoping this doesn’t end up in a miscarriage as well. I am at 4 weeks today and had a hcg blood test done. The doctor said the pregnancy marker is elevated at 667.6 and I will retest in 2 to 3 days. Has anyone else had a high level at 4 weeks?
