Soo torn about the vaccine...please help!
I usually dont get a flu shot - but have the last 2 years because I was pregnant/ to qualify for lower insurance premiums.
My job is from home, but I may start traveling again for work later this fall...
My husband and his parents have strongly opposed the vaccine- my fil pulled my sil and myself aside last Sunday telling us if we ever want more kids not to get the vaccine.
I know this isn't true - but I have read a few things about cycles being messed up after getting the vaccine so that's a heavy worry on my mind.
My family is almost fully vaccinated (my sister will get her 2nd shot in a week or so)
A good bit of my friends are vaccinated as well.
I am sooo dang torn! Part of me knows the vaccine is safe, but it's so hard to commit when people are in your ear about how its not safe / unknowns of possible side effects down the road.
I think I'd be more on board if I was in an office or if we went out, but right now I dont see myself as high risk. I wear my mask when out even though my husband and his family doesnt and I take all the sheep comments on the cheek and just know me wearing a mask isnt harming anyone.
I am still nursing my almost 11 month old. So I think I should so I could pass along antibodies to her since she wont be vaccinated for covid. She is fully utd on typical vaccines.
Any help/ links. If / when I do get the shot I want to have solid info in my pocket to share with my husband and his family.
