Had baby Sunday morning and my books are so big and hard...

How do I slow down production? I tried not pumping but she couldn't latch i was so hard. And then she hasnt been the best eater yet. So I have to pump alittle more. Ik they say don't pump youll produce more but how do I slow down my production? How do I not pump but not get a clogged duct?
