Chance of baby’s eye color?

Mother- European, blue eyes, everybody in family has blue/green eyes
Father- Indian, brown eyes, everybody in family has brown eyes
What’s the chance baby could be born with mother’s eyes? Love them either way ofc ❤️ just curious

brown eyes are dominant so baby has a higher chances of getting them than your eye colour. doesn’t mean it can’t happen though 😁

I’m white/German and my husband African American. We’re expecting our 3rd together. Our first has Light brown skin, brown eyes and brown curly hair.
Our second is as white as it gets, blue eyes and white blond curly hair (no one in my family is blond lol)

As far as I understand, if one parent has blue eyes and one has brown, the parent with brown eyes has to at least carry the recessive gene for blue eyes (i.e. a parent or grandparent had blue eyes). So if no one on dad's side has blue eyes odds are slim to none for a blue eyed baby. But of course, I'm sure there are rare cases.

Brown eyes are dominant but if sad has the blue eye gene anywhere in his genes it could happen. I have a friend who is half middle eastern half German, and her husband is a mix of European, Chinese, and South American. Three of their kids have dark hair and eyes and one is completely blonde and blue eyed. Genetics are funny that way
