orgasm vs cumming

okay i might sound like an idiot here but i’ve tried googling and i cannot figure this out. are orgasming and cumming the same thing when referring to women? my friends have said they’ve “came” but not orgasmed, and i was so confused! they say cumming is just when liquid comes out of the literal vaginal hole but isn’t that just discharge/wetness??? i was positive that a female orgasm was just a physical feeling without literal ejaculation (besides squirting) id appreciate an answer also sorry i sound so stupid haha, we never get taught this stuff!
