Losing 5 pounds in a week?

I lost 5 pounds this week on a diet I just started last week and I want to know if this is normal, or if loosing 5 pounds in a week will just mean I’ll gain it back quick

Some background- I’ve done diets where I am basically starving myself, having 800 calories a day. I’ve ALWAYS lost weight quickly then gained it back PLUS SOME super fast

I am trying to do it right this time. I have a decent amount of weight to lose 30-40 pounds. I REALLY want to lose and actually keep it off.

I’m counting calories, I have 1100-1200 calories a day, which is the most amount of calories I ever had on a diet. I know if you are losing 1-2 pounds a week, you are doing it the right way, and I am trying so hard to do it the right way. I’ve gone on diet after diet since my daughter was born, and always managed to lose 10-15 pounds quickly then it always comes back

For breakfast I’m eating smoothies, with

Power greens, blue berries, banana and yogurt

Lunch is egg whites, sometimes a quarter of an avocado, and a kale and spinach salad (no dressing)

Dinner is usually a 4 0z chicken breast with some kind of marinade (usually around 40 calories for the marinade) and a bunch of vegetables, usually 2 servings of asparagus and broccoli, sometimes carrots and peppers too

I snack twice a day, one snack is a yogurt, the other snack is one serving of peanut butter pretzels ( probably not the best snack) the yogurt is 80 calories the pretzels are 140.

I feel like I am eating a lot, I am eating a lot of veggies, I don’t feel like I am starving myself, I feel full most of the time.

Does this diet sound ok? Is losing 5 pounds in one week bad? Or is it common to lose 5 pounds your first week of a diet?

Also- I’m 5’2. Starting weight was 150, currently 145. Goal is pre pregnancy weight 110. Will be happy at 120

Also- unfortunately no exercise. I go for walks with my kids usually about 1-2 miles a day, but no gym
